Monitor lizards are giant-sized reptiles that would send humans scurrying and screaming for their lives due to their appearance and rapid movements.
However, one brave man decided to put the reptile in its place by grabbing it by the tail, swinging it around several times and tossing it to a nearby drain.

In a 19-second video shared on the Facebook page 大马新闻眼 Malaysia News Eyes last Tuesday (Apr 23), it showed a young man fearlessly dragging out a monitor lizard out from a shop at an undisclosed location by its tail.
As the reptile struggled to be free from the man’s iron grip, two women, believed to be a mother-and-daughter duo based on the video caption, were heard screaming in the background.
One of the women could even be heard saying: “Eh eh don’t beat it to death!”
Despite the chaos, the man remained unfazed and still held on to the monitor lizard’s tail and dragged it to an open carpark.
He then swung it around at least twice before tossing it into a drain nearby.
‘So brave!’
The clip has since gone viral, where it garnered 10,000 views and thousands of comments from netizens who were impressed by the man’s bravery.
‘Oh my gosh, that is super brave of him.’
‘This guy is awesome. He’s a hero.’
Meanwhile, some couldn’t help but to be amused over how the monitor lizard was dealt with and commented on how the reptile probably reacted during the incident.
‘First time hearing a monitor lizard scream.’
