# M’sian Man Grabs Monitor Lizard By The Tail, Swings & Tosses It Like It’s Roti Canai

##### Monitor lizards are giant-sized reptiles that would send humans scurrying and screaming for their lives due to their appearance and rapid movements.

However, one brave man decided to put the reptile in its place by grabbing it by the tail, swinging it around several times and tossing it to a nearby drain.

## M'sian man grabs monitor lizard by the tail

In a [19-second video](https://www.facebook.com/MalaysiaNewsEyes/videos/474100551852195/) shared on the Facebook page 大马新闻眼 Malaysia News Eyes last Tuesday (Apr 23), it showed a young man fearlessly dragging out a monitor lizard out from a shop at an undisclosed location by its tail.

As the reptile struggled to be free from the man's iron grip, two women, believed to be a mother-and-daughter duo based on the video caption, were heard screaming in the background.

One of the women could even be heard saying: ***"Eh eh don't beat it to death!"***

Despite the chaos, the man remained unfazed and still held on to the monitor lizard's tail and dragged it to an open carpark.

He then swung it around at least twice before tossing it into a drain nearby.
