If you were to find foreign objects inside your food, the first reaction you’d have would be one of horror and disgust as you have no idea where it came from.
But for one man, it was one of delight after the “extra ingredient” turned out to be a gold necklace inside the noodles he had bought at a Ramadan bazaar.

Man finds gold necklace inside noodles
In a Facebook post uploaded by a man named Andy Tan last Saturday (Apr 1), he shared about his “golden find” as he was digging into the noodles he had bought from a Ramadan bazaar.
In another photo, he shared a close-up of him lifting a few strands of noodles with a pair of chopsticks, where the gold necklace could be seen blending in almost impeccably with the noodles.

In the post’s caption, Tan jokingly lamented over why noodles sold at bazaars were so expensive nowadays due to the fact that gold was now “added” as an extra ingredient.
And it seems that this isn’t his first “golden find” inside his food, where he discovered a gold ring inside a prawn fritter the very next day.

‘So lucky!’
In the comment section, netizens were amazed and a tad jealous of Tan’s immense luck in finding golden objects.
One wrote: “Where did you buy (the noodles)? I want to buy one too hahaha.”

Another commented: “If vendors sell food which has gone bad, they wouldn’t admit that it came from them. But if gold is found inside his food, confirm a lot of them would start saying it belonged to them.”

One netizen even tagged his partner in the comment section, asking her whether she wanted him to buy a packet of noodles for her just in case he struck gold.

Don’t you wish that you were as lucky as Tan was? We sure are!
