Breakups are never a pleasant thing to go through, and while most couples would do their best to end the relationship on amicable terms, there are some who would use it to settle petty scores.
A young man was recently blasted by the father of his ex-girlfriend after he demanded to be paid back for the money he spent buying food for both him and his daughter following their breakup.

The bizarre incident was brought to light after a snippet of the conversation was shared to Facebook by a netizen on Saturday (Jul 13).
Based on the voice notes sent by the disgruntled young man, he told his ex-girlfriend’s father about how well he had treated his daughter prior to their breakup, which included buying fried rice for him whenever he was hungry.
However, he claimed that after he was “mistreated” by his ex-girlfriend’s father, he felt the need to ask for the money he had spent on the food back.
I bought two packs of fried rice and one pack of porridge before, and the price is around RM28. Since you drink often, I believe you have cash on hand so you can round it up to RM30. Send it back to me via e-wallet.
When he didn’t receive an immediate reply, the young man sent another voice note to his ex-girlfriend’s father, telling him that he could either transfer the cash to her first or let him personally call her to resolve the matter.
‘You’re the cheapest man I’ve ever seen!’
Several hours later, the father finally replied to the young man, saying that RM20 belonging to his daughter was still inside the car and that the latter could go get it if he wanted.
He then followed it up with the most savage sentence for decades to come:
Out of all the boys I’ve come across, you’re the cheapest man I’ve ever seen in my life. Good thing I realised this about you or else my daughter will suffer terribly if she were still with you!
Comments by netizens weren’t any kinder either, with many bashing the young man for his extremely stingy and calculative behavior.
