Recently, a 22-year-old Malaysian man shared his story of trying to remove a ring from his finger. Unable to remove it himself, he had to call firefighters to help cut the ring off.

The struggle is real
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, Aliff revealed that he had purchased the ring online just less than a month ago. Initially, he mentioned that the ring fit his finger well, but it later turned out to be too small.
The day before the incident, he admitted that he didn’t take off the ring before going to bed.
“The next day, when I tried to remove it before Friday prayers, I couldn’t get it off,” Aliff explained, adding that he even sought help from his family members to remove it.
He tried various methods, including using thread, soap, oil, and even soaking his hand in cold water, but nothing worked.
As a last resort, he went to the fire department to seek assistance. Despite the firefighters’ efforts to remove the ring with pliers, they still couldn’t cut it.
Eventually, they used a ring cutter machine to free Aliff from the ring.
After hours of struggling to remove it, Aliff thankfully didn’t suffer any injuries.
Lesson learned
Furthermore, Aliff mentioned that he learned a valuable lesson from this experience and vowed to purchase slightly larger rings in the future.
