A shocking incident occurred last night (Jan 13) at a company building in Setia Alam when a man in his 40s suffered injuries after his BMW fell from the second floor of the parking lot.
The event took place around 11:30 pm, causing alarm among the local community.
Initial reports indicate that the driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, collided with a wall in the parking area.
This collision led to the car’s plummet, resulting in it overturning in a grassy space adjacent to the premises. Eyewitnesses and local residents quickly gathered at the scene.
According to Kosmo!, the man was successfully extracted by the public, and no other casualties were reported.
The Assistant Director of Operations for Selangor Fire and Rescue, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, said that four members, including officers and a machine from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), rushed into the rescue operation.
“Upon arrival at the location, the car was found in the grass area after falling from the second level of the parking area, and the victim had been extracted before the arrival of the fire brigade,” he said.
He added that the victim is believed to have sustained injuries and was taken to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang for further treatment.
The current condition of the victim and the extent of his injuries have not been disclosed as of the report and local authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to this unusual accident.
