M’sian Man And Officer Throw Punches Over Parking Summon In Johor

Both men were injured in the fight.
No one likes getting served with a parking summon but when one is found breaking the law, it’s the duty of the authorities to ensure the wrongdoer is punished.

What was supposed to be an instance of an officer giving a parking summon became violent after the lawbreaker retaliated by assaulting him, leading to an all-out brawl.

After a brief but tense verbal exchange, the officer tosses a piece of paper into the man’s car, presumably the parking summon.

The man then tried to record the officer with his handphone but his hand was swatted away by the latter, causing the handphone to fall to the ground.

This then led both men to scuffle with each other, where they wildly traded punches.

At one point, the man even violently pushed the officer, causing him to lose his balance and stumble backwards into his motorcycle.

As the men continued to pelt each other with their fists, the woman who was recording the entire fight could be heard saying in the background, “It’s this uncle’s fault, he’s aggressive. He pushed the police first, he’s a s*hai (idiot). Record first, then we can report (to the police).”

A passerby soon appeared at the scene and broke up the fight, where he was joined by several other bystanders.

As the fight died down, the man got into his grey Mercedes and drove away. But before he could do so, his picture and license plate was taken by the officer.
