In the latest episode of “Food Adventures Gone Wild,” a Malaysian man shared a laugh-worthy moment.
Amusingly recounting a quirky dining escapade, this individual shared his tale of receiving a piece of straw instead of a spoon with his packed chicken rice.

In the JB 新山吹水站2.0 Facebook group, the OP spilled the beans about a funny incident, sharing a picture of his packed meal with a straw on top.
“Packing chicken rice with a straw, what could be the purpose?” he wondered in his caption.
And true enough, why indeed though?
Netizens couldn’t get enough
Netizens had a good laugh over it, and some even jumped in to save the day, tossing out suggestions on how to make use of the straw and sharing their wild guesses about why it ended up in the mix.
One Facebook user cleverly suggested to the OP an ingenious way (oh well) to repurpose a straw – by breaking it into two and using it as chopsticks.
“Cut in half to use as chopsticks.”
Another user sarcastically said that the straw is meant for eating rice, playfully asking why someone would choose a straw over a spoon for that.
“Of course it’s for you to eat chicken rice la. If not using straw, use spoon meh?”
Another netizen jokingly commented that the seller gave him a straw because they were concerned the OP might spill their rice on the ground.
“Because he’s worried that you might drop rice on the ground while eating, warmly offering you a straw so you can lean over and suck it up cleanly.”
“Let me tell you, use a straw to eat it. It’s so easy, you didn’t even know.” says another Facebook user.
Cracking the code, a user suggested that the seller might have accidentally placed the straw instead of a spoon.
“Took the wrong thing in a moment of haste, meant to grab a spoon originally.”
Mystery solved!
The spoon was a sneaky surprise, hidden inside the meal package until the OP revealed it in the comments. That’s right, the mystery of the missing spoon was solved!
It was actually placed inside the packed chicken rice.
“Fortunately, I had a spoon, otherwise I would have sucked it (with the straw),” the OP playfully commented, adding a touch of humor to the unusual situation.
In the picture, he even jokingly tried sticking the straw into the rice, as if thinking about sipping his meal through it.
