In the world of online food delivery, unexpected twists are not uncommon – from wrong items to miscalculated adjustments.
However, one TikTok user, @nanaaabdulrazak5, also known as Nana Janda, recently shared her unique experience of receiving exactly what she ordered, but with an unexpected twist – an overwhelming amount of chilies.
‘Are they trying to kill me?’
Nana documented her spicy surprise in a 30-second video clip, showcasing the ‘cili padi’ fried rice she ordered from Rileks Kitchen via the Grab app.
In the video, a laughter-filled Nana reveals the abundance of chilies in her fried rice, exclaiming, “Look at this ‘cili padi,’ are they trying to kill me?”
Amused by the situation, she continues, “That’s A LOT! I have been separating the chillies from this fried rice since forever.”
“These chillies… look like they’re trying to kill me!”
Nana jokes about the potential consequences, saying, “My god… this definitely warrants me to go to the toilet and hurts my anus.”
‘I was not mad, I found it funny’
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, Nana emphasised that her main order was ‘cili padi’ fried rice, but she never anticipated it would be ‘flooded’ with chilies.
“I would have never thought that the fried rice will be flooded with the crazy amount of chilies, as if they put a whole chilli tree in it,” she humorously remarked.
Despite the spicy ordeal, Nana could only consume about 70% of the fried rice, stating, “The portion of the food is fine, but the chilies make me want to faint.”
She shared the aftermath, revealing she visited the toilet 15 to 17 times and had to resort to drinking milk to alleviate the spicy aftertaste.
Surprisingly, Nana took the entire situation in good humour, saying, “I was not really mad. I found it funny yet hilarious.”
“Other people would mostly complain for uncertain issues such as the lack of taste, lack of protein, or ingredients in their item. But in my case, it’s excessive,” she laughed.
‘This is what we want’
As of now, the TikTok video has garnered over 289k views, with many viewers finding the spicy surprise amusing.
Comments flooded in, with one user expressing, “That looks so good. Usually for cili padi fried rice, they only give a few. This is what we want.”
Another user inquired, “Where can I buy this? Because every time I order extra spicy fried rice, it’s not even spicy at all.”
Yet another chimed in, “Such a generous cook.”
