Children often need to be supervised at all times, especially when they’re inside the car as leaving them to their own devices can lead to unwanted and sometime deadly consequences.
A couple of photos showing a young boy who disregarded his personal safety by sticking his body out from the car window has recently surfaced online, attracting concern from netizens.

According to the photos posted to the Facebook group Komuniti Roda Johor, the young boy is seen sticking his head and body out from the car’s passenger window while the vehicle was waiting at the traffic light.
Despite the dangerous act, there was no sign of the driver intervening or asking the boy to get back into the car.
Even as the car continued driving on after the light turned green, the boy could still be seen protruding his body out from the window.
According to the caption, the incident took place at around 3.15pm on Saturday (Nov 4) along the Pekan Nenas – Parit Selangor road.
Netizens call for action
The sight of the boy putting himself in such a dangerous position has left netizens in cold sweat, who feared for his safety.
One netizen tagged the Johor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department in the comment section, to which the latter replied by saying they would be looking into the matter.
Another netizen sarcastically commented that the boy was probably ‘healing’ himself, a Gen Z slang used to describe one who’s looking to mend their hearts after suffering heartbreak.
