Being stuck on a flight with someone repeatedly kicking your seat is already frustrating, but one passenger was left even more shocked after discovering that the person allegedly responsible was Malaysian influencer Aisar Khaled.
Passenger claims his feet kept hitting her seat
In a Threads post, an Indonesian woman described Aisar as the “worst influencer” she had ever encountered after allegedly sitting in front of him during a flight.
According to her, Aisar had placed his feet against her seat shortly after takeoff. His feet also allegedly kept hitting the back of her seat throughout the journey.
She suggested that this may have been because of his height, but felt that he should still have been more considerate of the passenger seated in front of him.
If you already know that you’re tall, at least take business class,” she wrote.
The passenger claimed that she had already confronted him about the matter, but he allegedly continued doing the same thing afterwards.
She eventually took photos of the person behind her as the plane was landing, only to realise that it was Aisar.
The photos showed a sock-covered foot appearing through the gap between the seats and pressing against the passenger’s seat.
Kicking continued after he apologised
Responding to a comment, the woman claimed that Aisar initially apologised after being confronted.
However, she alleged that he later went back to sleep and continued placing his feet near her seat.
She described the journey as feeling as though she was being kicked “from her head to her feet” throughout the flight.
In another reply, she said she was usually not someone who became angry easily, but claimed the repeated kicking had continued from takeoff until landing.
The situation was apparently made worse by a flight delay, with passengers only boarding at around 11.40pm.
The woman also clarified that they were travelling on a Batik Air Malaysia flight after another user mistakenly assumed it was AirAsia.
Netizens criticise alleged lack of etiquette
The post quickly gained traction, recording around 1.4 million views and 15,900 likes at the time of the screenshots.
Many netizens criticised the alleged behaviour, saying that travelling in economy class was not the issue, but passengers should still practise basic etiquette.
Others advised the woman to inform the cabin crew if she encountered a similar situation in the future, as they could intervene instead of her having to deal with the passenger alone.
Several Malaysian commenters also joined the discussion, with some claiming that Aisar had already faced criticism from locals over his previous online behaviour.
