M’sian Goes To Bazaar For Only 15 Mins, Discovers Her Myvi Was Struck By Hit-and-Run

A woman’s mood for breaking her fast was spoiled after her car became the victim of a hit-and-run incident, merely 15 minutes into her visit to the Bazaar.

The unsettling event took place on March 15th in Petaling Jaya, turning a routine shopping trip at a Ramadan bazaar into a source of distress.

The victim, Aienshah, brought the incident to X, and the post quickly sparked discussion and speculation.

Upon discovering the damage to her car, the woman sought assistance on social media, sharing images of her vehicle’s dented front right bumper and cracked headlight, in hopes of finding the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.

She had parked her car at 6:30 PM, looking forward to buying food for iftar, only to return shortly and find it damaged.

In search of the perpetrator

She took to social media to mobilize the community’s support in identifying the hit-and-run driver, sharing photos to highlight the extent of the damage.

As the community rallied to support her, some social media users came forward with parking area footage, although it has yet to lead to the identification of the culprit.

She added in the comments section that another driver sent her dashcam footage, suspecting that a red Saga in the video was the one who committed the crime.

“It’s just a split second in the video; at 0:17 on the right side, there’s a red Saga car over there.”

“The owner of this dashcam stated that before they parked, it was indeed this red car that was parked there.” She commented.

Amidst suggestions to file a police report and contact her insurance company for compensation, the car owner expressed her primary interest was in finding the hit-and-run driver, highlighting her determination to seek justice beyond just financial recovery.
