A Malaysian man found a rather dramatic “parking violation card” placed on his car after he apparently parked too close to another vehicle.
Instead of a typical angry handwritten note, the card came fully designed, printed, and even included a checklist for different parking offences.
The post has since gone viral on Threads, with many amused by the effort.
Found a card on his car
A netizen shared the incident in a post, joking that the parking box might have been too small.
He also wondered where the person had bought the card from.
The photos showed a small card tucked under the windscreen wiper of his car.
On the front, the card read:
You parked terribly.”
It also included a small drawing of a confused driver with the words: “What did I do? :(”
Below it, the card added:
“Please consider retaking driving classes because you suck at parking :)”
Card came with a checklist too
The back of the card was even more detailed.
It had a checklist of possible offences, including:
“OKU parking spot”, “taking up two parking spots”, “parking too close”, “crooked parking”, “double parked with no phone number”, and “general stupidity”.
In the photo shared, the box for “parking too close” was ticked.
The card also carried several sarcastic remarks telling the driver to be more aware of his surroundings, respect others, and learn how to park properly.
‘Where did they buy this?’
The post quickly went viral, gaining over 31,000 likes at the time of writing.
In a pinned comment, the man later said he had found where the card came from, sharing a Shopee link for a “Malaysian Parking Violation Card”.
Some netizens found the whole thing hilarious.
One joked that the answer was already written on the card, as the Shopee name was printed at the bottom.
Several others asked where they could get the card themselves.
One netizen pointed out that cars nowadays often have dashcams, so people should be careful before publicly shaming another driver.
Another said parking too close or crookedly may not always be intentional.
According to the commenter, sometimes one car parks crooked first, forcing the next driver to adjust. When the first car leaves, the remaining cars may end up looking like the ones at fault.
Still, many netizens appeared to agree that the card was a very Malaysian way of calling someone out.
