During a movie promotion event, a voyeur was caught taking videos under the skirts of celebrities, and his reprehensible act led to a physical confrontation from Malaysian actor Jack Lim.
Celebrities who fell victim include Han Xiaoai, Joey Kong, and Nicole Liu, along with other assistants and female attendences.
Multiple Upskirt Videos Of Influencers
Han Xiaoai shared a screenshot from a video showing numerous upskirt videos found on his phone.
Allegedly, the perpetrator typically committed his crimes by using a paper bag to conceal his phone and attempting to get close enough to record upskirt videos.
When the voyeur was caught in action, Malaysian actor Jack Lim, assisted by his new artist Henry and a delivery rider, boldly confronted and apprehended the suspect.
In the video posted on Jack’s social media, the suspect can be seen trying to hide his face, and was later brought to the police station.
“I accept any legal consequences”
Enraged by the voyeur’s disgusting actions, Jack admitted in a Facebook post to physically assaulting the voyeur, accepting the potential legal consequences.
Jack Lim, who remained at the police station assisting with the investigation until the early hours, expressed regret for his violent response. However, he emphasized the necessity to protect those around us from such “crazy perverts”.
“Numerous concerning incidents have been reported recently, including a case where a woman was raped while crossing a pedestrian overpass, and another incident where a woman was followed into a restroom.” Lin expressed in his post.
“I am willing to accept any legal consequences of my action.” Jack wrote in his social media post.
Despite acknowledging his lack of authority for physical action, Jack stood firm on his stance against voyeurism and harassment.
Urges victim to come forward
Han Xiaoai took to Instagram to expose the perpetrator, revealing his history of similar offences.
The event spiraled into a broader issue of public safety for women, with Han Xiaoai assisting the police in identifying other victims.
She urged those affected to come forward, aiming to prevent the unauthorized spread of the footage.
