Captured in a short TikTok video, the father’s loving gesture melted hearts across Malaysia.

Seated beside her father, the soldier, dressed in her uniform, was spoon-fed a mouthful of her favourite dish — sambal prawn nasi lemak — as her mother looked on with quiet pride and emotion.

The tender act left the soldier visibly emotional, wiping away her tears as she prepared for her departure.

Her elder sister, who shared the video, revealed, “Sambal prawns are her favourite, and this was my dad’s way of showing his love before she left.”
