One Malaysian couple in Perth, Australia, is making waves with their homemade satays, so much so that an Aussie food reviewer has called theirs “the best satays ever”.
M’sian couple sell RM7 satays in Perth, Australia
In a recent Tiktok video shared by famed Australian food reviewer named Papa Nash, he excitedly shared with viewers about a satay stall which was run by a Sabahan couple in Perth, Australia.
In the video, Papa Nash states that the satay stall is located at Southern River in Perth, where Zul and his wife sell satays straight from a food truck named Satay Bro.
He also gave viewers a closer look as to how the satays are made, where all of them are made solely using lean meat.
Papa Nash also added that the satays are sold at 12 AUD (RM36.62) for a set of five pieces or 2 AUD (RM7) per piece.
The food truck opens from 2pm until 5pm and sells out around 400 sticks of satay a day, making it a favorite not only among Malaysians residing in Perth but native Australians as well.
Aside from satay, the couple also sells other beloved Malaysian dishes such as Nasi Goreng, Nasi Kuning, Mee Goreng, and more.
Towards the end of the clip, Papa Nash told viewers that the couple’s satays were “the best satays” he had ever tasted.

In the comment section, Malaysian netizens wasted no time in commending Zul and his wife for bringing Malaysian food to Australian shores.
