A couple recently brought their pet dogs to a Mamak restaurant in Ulu Tiram, Johor, and allowed them to sit on the restaurant chairs, sparking outrage among netizens who questioned their lack of sensitivity.

According to a Facebook post, a netizen who witnessed the incident shared that she immediately informed the staff about the situation, but they did not take any action.
“I confronted the couple, but they claimed that the restaurant owner allowed them to bring the dogs inside,” she said.
The woman expressed her deep dissatisfaction, posting photos of the couple online and criticizing them for not respecting the beliefs of Muslims.

“What kind of behavior is this? Please respect other races and Muslims! We understand the love for pets, but don’t go too far!”
The post quickly gained attention from other netizens, who condemned the couple’s actions as foolish.
They remarked that while there’s nothing wrong with loving dogs, one should also respect others’ feelings.
Some netizens also stated that the couple lacked basic sensitivity and pointed out potential hygiene issues with allowing dogs to sit on the restaurant chairs.
“I feel ashamed of their behavior. If you want to dine out, you shouldn’t bring your pets along,” one netizen said.
