At first glance, it might seem like this viral video was purposefully created or reversed just for views. However, this moment actually happened for real.
Recently, a video went viral showing several chairs at a mamak restaurant flying away, with tables being dragged as if someone was pulling them—except no one was.
It was actually the strong wind causing all the chaos.
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP revealed that they encountered this surreal moment when she and her housemates decided to hang out at the mamak in Kajang after finishing their assignments.
“While we were eating, around 1:30 am, the wind started to get stronger, but it was the kind of wind that felt nice, like being at the beach,” she explained.
She further shared that as it approached 2 am, the cups on the empty tables started falling, and then the chairs and tables began moving on their own.
Even some motorcycles got knocked over, she said.
People nearby tried to help by picking up and holding the chairs to prevent them from hitting anyone else.
The mamak workers quickly folded up the tables outside, and everyone moved inside to continue eating.
This video has since gone viral, garnering over 1.4 million views and thousands of comments from netizens, who are both amused and amazed by the unexpected chaos caused by the strong winds.
“Heyyy, wait for meeeee!!!” Ahh, third chair”
“Natural Disaster Survival in real life.”
“On the way! Malaysia core.”
