The MRT Kajang Line experienced a momentary setback this morning due to a glitch in the automated door system at the Surian MRT Station.
Commuters aboard the line found themselves on a slower-than-usual ride, leading to a chorus of grievances about disrupted schedules.
As social media flooded with photos and videos showcasing crowded platforms, commuters on the MRT Kajang Line encountered delays this morning owing to technical glitches with the automated door system at Surian MRT Station.
This significantly impacted the morning commute for many, with some individuals even arriving late for work.
At around 8 a.m., Rapid KL took to Facebook to notify the public of the delays affecting the MRT Kajang Line.
The post mentioned that due to the malfunctioning automated door system at Surian MRT Station, trains had to be operated manually, leading to slower speeds and extended stopovers at platforms.
While updates regarding the repair progress were intermittently provided through comments on Rapid KL’s post, discontented netizens took to the platform to express their dissatisfaction with the earlier disruption to their commute.
Some are requesting the Train Delay Certificate for the commuters affected by the train issue so they can better explain the situation to their employers.
Nevertheless, Rapid KL informed commuters around 10 a.m. via Facebook that the automated door system at Surian MRT Station had been successfully repaired, train schedules adjusted, and services resumed as usual.
Expressing regret for any inconvenience caused, Rapid KL extended gratitude to passengers for their patience during the ordeal.
