Kindness can surprise us by showing up unexpectedly, whether from anyone we encounter or in any place, at any time. Here’s one of the example.
Recently, a celebrity chef’s heartwarming gesture touched many when she offered a ride to a visually impaired man who couldn’t secure a Grab. Not only that, she also shared that he is a tutor for SPM students.
Shortly after, she shared the news on her social media, kindhearted netizens expressed their interest in having their children tutored by him. The influence of social media and kindness is truly remarkable.
“Please share this video”
Shared by the famous chef, Anis Nabilah, on her Instagram page, she detailed the encounter with a kind man that later turned into an unexpected turn of events.
In her post, she explained that she met Prakash patiently waiting for a Grab ride by the roadside. After waiting for so long, he couldn’t secure any Grab, possibly due to the late hour.
Moved by his plight, the chef approached Prakash and offered him a ride home. As they journeyed together, she discovered that Prakash is not only visually impaired but also a dedicated tutor for SPM students.
“He was very polite, soft-spoken, and articulate.” Anis said.
In their conversation, Prakash revealed that he currently tutors two SPM students and had four students last year.
He struggles to reach out to more students
According to Anis, Prakash is now looking for more students to teach but finding it hard to reach out to them.
“Many people suggested he create content on social media, but he needs help recording, and many charge too much, which he can’t afford.” she said.
Recognising an opportunity to help, Anis offered to record Prakash and share his story on her social media account, which has since been the talk of the town. Furthermore, she stated that Prakash shared his contact number just in case anyone is interested in being tutored by him.
“I’m glad I met him, he exemplified true kindness, patience, and resilience. He’s an amazing guy, and I pray for Allah to ease everything for him,” she wrapped up the post.
Please share this video and help Prakash get more students!”
After watching the video, a netizen voluntarily said that they have already reached out to Prakash and will be sending their son to be tutored by him.
“Thanks girl. I’m giving a try. He will be coming to teach my son starting next week.”
One netizen, believed to be Prakash’s friend, shared a few things about him.
“This is my friend, Prakash. He is my main motivation; he makes me appreciate what God has given me. He changed my life. Such an inspiration. Thank you, @anis_nabilah, for helping him. God bless you.”
However, in the comment section, Anis updated everyone that he has recently been featured in the local Tamil newspaper due to the video, and someone from a local bank even offered him a job.
“He’s so happy and grateful that people are sharing his story ❤️ Thank you everyone for sharing! You guys are the best,” Anis mentioned.
