A business owner expressed frustration after a neighboring restaurant blatantly occupied the parking spaces in front of their store with tables and chairs during operating hours.
Despite filing a police report and attempting to negotiate with the restaurant, the issue remains unresolved, leaving the business owner dismayed and angry at the inaction of local authorities.
Set up tables in front of their store
A video uploaded by @mynewshub on social media platform X captured the incident, showing the outdoor equipment and supplies store with multiple tables and chairs occupying the parking spaces right in front of their shop.
The neighboring establishment is a restaurant selling Pakistani cuisine.
“This is our store, and we are open for business, yet this restaurant is completely ignoring our presence by setting up tables and chairs in front of our parking spaces,” the business owner lamented.
“We have already filed a report and met with the restaurant owner, but they remain stubborn and refuse to change. The only thing left for us to do is to share this video online and let the public judge for themselves.” He added.
Wouldn’t mind if they set up after they closed
The owner explained that if the restaurant had only set up the tables after they had closed, it wouldn’t have been an issue.
However, doing so while they were still open was unacceptable as it disrupted their ongoing business.
The incident reportedly took place in Tropicana Alam, Kuala Langat.
