One of the concerns when staying in a hotel is encountering paranormal events and Asians have many different measures to avoid such disturbances.
A netizen @aifaazlan took to her TikTok to share what she encountered at a hotel at the Cameron Highlands.
She started the video but asking if other netizens experienced something similar at the same hotel.
The 7-second clip also shows her son with bruises on his arm and she claimed it appeared out of nowhere.
“I was shocked to see bruises on his arms after the stay at the hotel.”
According to her caption, her maid told her that she heard footsteps at 3 am and caused her to stay up till the morning out of fear.

A few netizens shared their experience of being haunted at the same hotel.
“I stayed at the hotel for a night with my wife. We couldn’t sleep due to the noise of people talking and running at midnight.”
“During my stay, my wife saw footsteps and heard the sound of knocking on the cupboard.”
“I heard footsteps at 2am while staying at the same hotel. Could sleep till the next morning.”
“There was once I could breathe halfway through my sleep staying at this hotel. But I didn’t think too much as the location was quite high up.”
“Long time ago in that hotel toilet saw a palm print high on top of the mirror after a shower. The mirror is so big and the print at the centre top, it is fresh print.”
A user who claimed to be one of the workers back then said that it is quite common for the hotel stated, especially for the apartment-style rooms.
However, they are also many netizens who said their stay was all good.
