Monkeys have earned quite a reputation for their mischievous behavior when it comes to interacting with humans. Their nimble fingers, quick reflexes, and curious nature make them some of the best snatch thieves among other animals.
A Malaysian woman recently shared a hilarious TikTok video featuring an unusual encounter with a monkey, where it stole her neighbour’s parcel and made a run for a nearby jungle.
Monkey steals parcel from M’sian woman’s neighbour
In the TikTok clip, the nimble-fingered monkey in seen nimbly climbing down a metal pole before suddenly swooping in and clutching the parcel with its paws.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, the woman named Wanie said the incident occurred on October 21, 2023, at around 12.20 PM in Kangar Juru, Simpang Ampat.
She added that her neighbour, whose parcel was taken by the monkey, wasn’t around at the time and that she only noticed the creature approaching the residential area when her brothers went out for an errand.
“After the monkey took the parcel, it immediately headed to the nearby jungle. Until now, I still have no idea what’s inside the parcel,” she said.

The clip has since gone viral with more than 73,000 views and it evoked plenty of humourous reactions from netizens.
