KUALA LUMPUR – Students sitting for their SPM Maths paper today were baffled by a specific instruction that was given to them during the examination.
Apparently, they were told to make corrections to their test papers by changing a name on one of the questions from “Liza” to “Lisa”.
This undoubtedly left the students fuming, who took to Twitter to call out the Ministry of Education (MOE) for wasting their time on such a minor issue.
The outrage has also caused the hashtag #Liza to make its way into the trending list on Twitter.
Many turned to memes as a way to vent their frustrations over the hassle, that doesn’t make a difference.
Some also questioned how the change would affect their grades.
Others were pissed by how some questions were crafted.
Some also complained that this year’s Maths paper was way too challenging for them.
However, the MOE has yet to issue an official statement at the time of writing.
