Just today (Feb 4), McDonald’s Malaysia released their latest product: a Spicy Chicken Burger with Apple Slices, claiming that it was the perfect “sweet and spicy combination” on their website.
“Whether you’re craving for something spicy or sweet, the NEW Spicy Chicken with Apple Slices has the perfect combination of both!”
If you think it’s a dream, look more closely. The burger consists of spicy chicken patties, black pepper mayo sauce, and real apple slices all sandwiched between together. You can either opt for its Spicy Chicken with Apple Slices or the Double Spicy Chicken with Apple Slices.
The fast-food giant also announced on its Facebook page that the burger will be the “trendiest burger in town”, topping it off with the “ultimate satisfaction” of their Twister Fries.
This has undoubtedly touched a nerve among netizens, who flooded the comment section showing their obvious distaste, where it has garnered more than 2.1k likes and 650 comments thus far.
