An air stewardess working for Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has passed away after she was found lifeless inside her hotel room during a layover in Japan yesterday (May 20).
The victim was identified as Norzana Hanim Hamzah, whose passing was confirmed by Malaysia Airlines.

In a statement, Malaysia Airlines said that Norzana was was on a layover in Tokyo after completing a flight to Narita International Airport and was slated to return to work during a flight to KL.
The airline has been in touch with Norzana’s family and will be supporting them during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Norzana,” it said.
While the cause of Norzana’s death has yet to be revealed, there were speculations that she had suffered a fall before boarding for the KL-bound flight, reported NST.
We hope the authorities will be able to find out what caused Norzana’s untimely passing and we send our deepest condolences to her family for their loss.
