A married man found himself in possibly the most awkward position after Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) officers raided a massage parlour in Kota Tinggi on Monday (Aug 24).
According to a report by Harian Metro, the man and an Indonesian woman were caught at 10.45pm in one of the rooms at the massage parlour.
Caught in his undies
In a statement by JAINJ, it said checks found that the man was only wearing his underwear when he was found lying down, while the Indonesian woman was sitting next to him.

They also found a single bed with a mattress and bedsheet, the man’s clothing, as well as several small bottles containing massage oil.
Married & has a child
During questioning, officers discovered that the man was married and worked in the district, while the woman had been working as a masseuse on commission for about four months.
The man also said he lived alone in a rented room, while his wife and child were in another state located about three hours away.
He also claimed that he usually returned to his hometown once a week or once every two weeks.

JAINJ said the massage parlour is believed to have drawn customers through promotions on several Internet applications, in addition to regular walk-in customers.
While a regular massage costs RM80 per hour, other services are available with additional fees.
However, the man vehemently denied receiving “extra” services at the massage parlour as he was experiencing body aches after a hard day at work.
He and the woman were arrested under Section 27 of the Johor State Syariah Criminal Offences Enactment for suspected ‘khalwat‘ and they will be charged at the Syariah Court soon.
