With political campaigns for GE15 in full swing, supporters of the parties participating in the election are donning t-shirts bearing its logo at rallies.
However, as the Malay idiom goes, ‘Bagai lalang ditiup angin’ (a person whose stance keeps changing), one man decided to join the rallies of three different political parties just to get these t-shirts for free!
Joined rallies of different parties
In a now-viral TikTok video by @apeh_88, it showed several pictures of a man gleefully posing at the rallies of various political parties.
The man not only joined one, but three political parties’ rally so that he could bring their t-shirt home for free.
According to a netizen who claimed to housemates with the man, he apparently went to a PH rally in the morning and went to another political party’s rally in the evening.
When he got home, he was wearing a PN shirt which he claimed he got it for free.

Clever move
After the video went viral, netizens took to the comment section to praise the man for his ingenious move.
However, some weren’t happy with his antics and bashed him by calling him a ‘lalang’ (used to describe an indecisive person).
In response, a netizen believed to be his friend said that he was simply trying to have fun and be friendly with supporters of the political parties.
