Lots of people started talking about the decorated Flat Kampung Melayu after a TikTok video went viral. Firdaus Eusope shared the video, and in just 34 seconds, it showed at least 15 floors of the building, all lit up with festive lights on the corridors and balconies.
Residents team up for a Raya spectacular display
What makes this display special isn’t just how it looks, but how everyone in the building has joined in to celebrate.
From the bottom floor to the very top, every resident has added something to make the place feel lively and exciting. It’s turned the whole building into something truly amazing to see.
Some apartments have gone above and beyond, adding blinking lights and extra decorations to make the festive vibe even stronger. The outcome is a breathtaking mix of colours and lights that’s getting praise from both the people who live there and those just passing by.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Firdaus Yusof, the original poster, told us, “it was all sponsored by Datuk Seri Salim Rahman. He is the main contributor.”
Regarding the attached pictures in the video, Firdaus informed us that there is a lucky draw scheduled for the 5th day of Eid for the Flat Kampung Melayu community, where they stand a chance to win a car or motorcycle.
