With GE15 inching all the more closer, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) announced on Tuesday (Nov 1) that it will be offering special Keluarga Malaysia train services starting from Nov 18 to Nov 20.
This is mainly to enable Malaysians returning to the east coast to cast their ballots.
Trains under the Keluarga Malaysia train service will depart from KL Sentral station and reach its final destination at Tumpat, Kelantan.
Train schedules
The schedules for trains travelling from KL Sentral to Tumpat have since been unveiled on KTMB’s Facebook page.
It is set to depart from KL Sentral station at 3.40pm on Nov 18 and is expected to arrive at Tumpat at 7.40am on Nov 19.
After casting their ballots, Malaysians who want to return to KL can catch the train at Tumpat at 5.10pm and reach the KL Sentral station at 11.26am.
Apart from that, KTMB will also be providing ETS services to Padang Besar, Perlis and Butterworth, Penang.
