KL Experiences Super Smooth Traffic As M’sians ‘Balik Kampung’ For Aidiladha

Smooth like butter.

PETALING JAYA – Several main roads in Kuala Lumpur barely had any cars on it as Malaysians traveled back to their hometowns to celebrate Aidiladha.

According to Kosmo!, CCTV footage showed smooth traffic throughout yesterday despite heavy rains which took place in the afternoon.

The roads include Jalan Sultan Ismail/Jalan Imbi, Jalan Bukit Bintang/Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan P. Ramlee, Jalan Raja near Merdeka Square and Jalan Tun Razak.

A check by WeirdKaya on the Jalanow website also showed seamless traffic for today at the mentioned roads.

On Twitter and Facebook, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) reported that there were no traffic congestion on the East Coast Expressway and North-South Highway except for those caused by accidents.

However, traffic congestion is expected to come back in full force tomorrow as many will return to the city once Aidiladha celebrations come to an end.
