Social media personality and entrepreneur Khairul Aming has openly shared that he doesn’t mind spending a fortune and temporarily halting factory operations to treat his staff to a vacation.
RM1 million costs incurred for company trip
During a live session on his TikTok account, the 32-year-old Kelantan-born businessman revealed that his company incurred nearly RM1 million in total expenses for this gesture.
This amount covered both the vacation expenses and the production loss from closing the factory for five days.
There are two costs involved. The first is for the trip, which includes meals, hotels, transportation, activities, and pocket money for the staff,” he explained.
“The second is the cost of shutting down the factory for five days.”
RM1 Million Allocated for Vacation and Factory Closure
Khairul elaborated that the combined costs of the vacation and production losses amounted to nearly RM1 million.
He clarified that the production loss alone was between RM700,000 and RM750,000, while the vacation expenses ranged from RM200,000 to RM300,000.
He stressed that despite the high costs, he has no regrets.
“This is something I allocate annually for my staff’s well-being. It’s essential to celebrate them.”
Luxurious Getaway in Penang
In an earlier post, Khairul Aming disclosed that the trip included 100 employees, who stayed in 5-star hotels with sea views in Penang.
They were treated to luxurious meals, and each staff member also received spending money during the holiday.
“We aim to maintain this culture every year and ensure the staff have time to unwind, even if it means temporarily closing the factory,” he said, affirming his commitment to employee welfare.
This gesture highlights Khairul Aming’s efforts to foster a positive work environment, prioritizing both the well-being and morale of his employees.
