Recently, Khairul Aming embarked on an exciting culinary journey to New Zealand, launching a 9-part series that combines cooking with exploration.
His venture in this culinary journey reached another level when today (Sept 3), he got a golden opportunity when he was visited by New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Christopher Luxon.
According to the press statement, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Christopher Luxon, landed in Malaysia for a visit to discuss bilateral matters and explore collaboration under the Malaysia-New Zealand Strategic Partnership.

Taking to his X account, @khairulaming shared a glimpse of his interaction with the Prime Minister.
In the caption, Khairul mentioned that the Prime Minister of New Zealand met him as a gesture of appreciation from New Zealand for the cooking videos he made there.
He also further said that he took the opportunity to introduce him to a Malaysian breakfast.
They also exchanged thoughts on tourism exchange between Malaysia and New Zealand, trade exports of Halal meat and dairy products, nature preservation, and the potential export of local SME products to New Zealand.
Reflecting on this incredible experience, Khairul Aming couldn’t help but look back on how far he’s come.
“Eight years ago, I filmed my first cooking video while sitting on the floor. Today, I have the privilege of sitting next to the Prime Minister of a renowned nation. Keep hustling, you’ll be amazed at where life can take you,” he wrote in the caption.
