Johor Woman Arrested For Allegedly Bludgeoning Husband To Death

The suspect was known to have mental health problems.

JOHOR BAHRU – A 44-year-old man was found dead in his family home located in Flat Nipah near Taman Daya, Johor today.

Authorities believe he was a victim of domestic violence, reported Malay Mail.

The victim, identified as Lee Ming How, was found lying motionless face down to the ground after he was allegedly beaten to death by his 46-year-old wife at 7.50am.

Johor Bahru South police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat said the victim resided with his wife and children.

11yo son witnessed entire incident

Sin Chew Daily reported that the victim’s 11-year-old son, who was in the house, witnessed the entire incident as it unfolded.

“Investigators are still investigating the motive of the incident, including the weapon used by the suspect,” said Raub.

The victim’s wife was later detained for further investigations and a remand order was also filed by the police.

An officer who was acquainted with the couple revealed that the suspect has mental health problems, anger issues, and would talk to herself sometimes.

“The case is now investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
