Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere when one’s on the road. But it’s not everyday where you have a metal rod flying right through the windshield before piercing into your arm.

A man in Kuantan had a close shave with death after a metal rod went flying off from a lorry and went straight through the windshield and got stuck in his left arm. Ouch!

Police tracking down lorry driver

NST later reported that police are now on the hunt for the lorry driver as the victim’s car didn’t have a dashcam.

Kuantan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu said the victim was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital for treatment while the 75cm-long metal rod was still in his arm.
