The author’s post appears to be a call to action for Ipoh locals, suggesting they keep their treasured, lesser-known food spots undisclosed to prevent further exposure that could lead to price hikes due to increasing tourist interest.

An Ipoh native, now residing in Selangor, lightheartedly shared their strategy for an authentic dining experience: skipping well-known spots in favor of where the crowds go, inadvertently highlighting the trend of popular places being frequented by out-of-towners.
