Interactive Water Park At The Exchange TRX Damaged Less Than 1 Week After Opening

This is not the right place for water activities.

Malaysia’s latest social sensation, the TRX Exchange Mall, is making waves not just for its high-end stores and stunning design, but also for its family-centric rooftop attraction.

The mall’s rooftop is a paradise for kids, featuring an outdoor playground decked out with fountains. This spot has already won hearts, as evidenced by a viral video showcasing families enjoying their time there.

The mall’s management encourages the playful use of the fountain and nearby attractions, like the cave and waterfall area.

However, they emphasise the need for parental vigilance to ensure children’s safety.

A unique ‘spiral’ structure, though visually appealing, is off-limits for sitting, as the mall is still in the process of implementing specific rules for its use.

Despite its popularity, the mall faced a setback when a photo showing the water playground temporarily closed due to damage went viral.

In the post, the caption reads: “Less than a week after opening, the water interactive game at the ‘mall’ Exchange TRX was damaged and had to be temporarily closed. The game is indeed reserved for children to play with water, but it is not a pool for bathing or wallowing.”

This incident has sparked a debate about visitor behaviour, particularly highlighting the need for parents to exercise common sense while supervising their children.

As repairs are underway, there is a hopeful anticipation that visitors, especially parents, will adhere more closely to the rules, ensuring the sustainability of this vibrant social space in Malaysia.
