INNISFREE Launches Green Tea Seed Serum With Its Rebranding. Here’s What We Think About It

Not bad.

Together with its New Isle Rebranding, INNISFREE has launched its new Green Tea Seed Serum that is said to suit all skin types, safe for sensitive or troubled skin, and a must-have for those who want to improve their skin’s overall health.

What are the three main effects?

INNISFREE’s Green Tea Seed Serum boasts of its pre-serum’s function to hydrate and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, with an instant 710% increase in moisture and 92.3% improvement in the skin barrier within 30 minutes.

It is also an intensive moisturizing serum that uses green tea and hyaluronic acid to provide all-day hydration.

Lastly, it contains allantoin and panthenol to soothe temporary redness caused by external irritation. Both products have been dermatologically and non-comedogenic tested.

Was it effective?

The green bottle looks nice and neat but the pump is slightly hard to press in the beginning.

I really like the refreshing green tea scent and the consistency of the liquid is just right as a pre-serum.

Since the product primarily focuses on moisturizing and repairing the skin barrier, I mainly evaluated these two effects when I used it.

Since my skin is the oily kind, the best way to put these two effects to the test is to see if there was less oil production as the bottom layer of the skin tends to produce a lot of oil when it’s not hydrated enough.

After using the serum day and night for 5 days, my skin’s oil production has indeed decreased significantly. Even during my menstrual cycle when my skin tends to be at its absolute worst, I noticed that my face didn’t break out with tons of pimples on it.

Overall, my experience with using the Green Tea Seed Serum has been largely positive. But, do note that results may vary from person to person.
