In a spine-chilling incident that left road users with their hearts in their mouths, a massive snake tumbled from a Perodua Aruz sport utility vehicle (SUV) on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway.
The unnerving event took place a day before Muslims celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri, sparking a flurry of reactions and concerns among netizens.
A dashcam video recently uploaded to TikTok by user @azroyazlan81 captured the terrifying moment in all its glory.
In the 25-second clip, viewers can clearly see the sizeable reptile making an unexpected entrance as it falls from the vehicle onto the highway.
To add to the drama, the same Perodua Aruz runs over the snake before it manages to slither away, leaving its fate uncertain.
“During the incident, the object was hanging under the engine, but we didn’t notice the snake. When it fell and the Aruz ran over it, we realized it was a snake. I was right behind it and recorded it with my car’s camera. Luckily, we managed to avoid it.”
