Poor uncle.
We all can probably understand the dread whenever we unintentionally damage or break something that costs lots of money.

A Malaysian bus driver in Bugis, Singapore was recently filmed breaking down after the windscreen was left with a huge crack following a road accident.

‘How to pay for this?’

According to her, the driver was forced to make an emergency brake in order to avoid hitting a motorcycle which he didn’t notice was in front of him.

This resulted in the windscreen suffering a massive crack, where the damage covered almost half of the glass panel.

In the comment section, some netizens speculated that a man dressed in a long-sleeved red shirt most likely caused the damage, where he probably hit the windscreen when the bus came to a screeching halt.

The woman added that after the accident, the bus driver became hysterical upon seeing the cracked windscreen.

She also said that he could be heard muttering ‘How to pay for this…how to pay for this?’ multiple times.

“Tears welled up in my eyes because I was reminded of my own father. Plus, it’s Hari Raya soon. This uncle’s name is Uncle Abdullah,” she wrote.

Towards the end of the clip, the woman revealed that the driver lived in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, adding that she had gotten his contact number and called upon netizens to raise funds for him.

She also thanked those who have expressed willingness to help the bus driver financially after the first video went viral, where it has since garnered 2.1 million views so far.

We hope the uncle will be able to celebrate Raya with a peace of mind now that he doesn’t have to pay for the windscreen!
