Here’s What 18 Countries Will Be Wearing At The Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Paris, a city synonymous with fashion, is ready to dazzle the world again with the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games.

Ahead of the Games, an exhibition in the French capital celebrated the relationship between fashion and sport, showcasing the stylish uniforms of 18 countries, including our beloved Malaysia.

South Korea 🇰🇷

South Korea’s athletes will don uniforms by The North Face, featuring 23 items including daily wear and team equipment. Designs like “Gakgwa” (water) and “Yinyang” patterns add a distinct Korean vibe, blending tradition with modern athletic needs.

Indonesia 🇮🇩 

Indonesia’s Olympic Committee unveiled their collection on July 4. Designed by Li Ning Company Limited, the red, white, and black uniforms feature the Garuda Pancasila emblem and “Tim Indonesia” text. This bold and patriotic look ensures the team stands out on the world stage.

Mongolia 🇲🇳 

Mongolia’s intricate outfits, designed by Michel&Amazonka, reflect the country’s rich heritage. Founded by sisters Michel, Amazonka, and Munkhjargal Choigaalaa, the label promises unique and eye-catching designs that are sure to make a statement.

Jamaica 🇯🇲 

Puma’s striking black, gold, and green kit for Jamaica combines speed and fashion. Using engineered jacquard fabric and thermoadapt technology, these uniforms not only look fantastic, but also enhance performance by regulating body temperature.

Japan 🇯🇵

ASICS designed Japan’s kit with a focus on performance and sustainability. The Sunrise Red and YAGASURI graphic symbolize determination and strength, making a bold statement for Team Japan as they compete in Paris.

Thailand 🇹🇭

Thailand’s uniforms were inspired by traditional weaving techniques and feature innovative fabric made from recycled plastic bottles. The collection includes a zip-up jacket, dark sweatpants, and white sneakers, all resplendent in hues of blue and red.

South Africa 🇿🇦

In collaboration with Mr Price, South Africa’s sleek uniforms draw inspiration from the country’s diverse flora, fauna, and landmarks. The designs include white tracksuits with subtle yellow and green accents, and green tracksuits with delicate white and yellow details.

Spain 🇪🇸

Spain’s collaboration with Joma features a deep burgundy blazer adorned with the official Olympic patch. Male athletes wear cream trousers and button-up shirts, while female athletes don a pleated skirt in vibrant shades of red, yellow, orange, and white.

Australia 🇦🇺 

Australian athletes will strut in single-breasted blazers with gold buttons, featuring the names of all 301 Australian Olympic champions. Male athletes will wear cream shorts, while female athletes will sport a pleated skirt in a gradient of green, yellow, and white.

France’s athletes will showcase sophistication with matching suits by Berluti. Men will wear navy blazers with burgundy, white, and cerulean gradients, while women have the option of trousers or a navy satin skirt, reflecting Parisian elegance.

USA 🇺🇸 

Ralph Lauren’s design for Team USA features a navy blazer trimmed with white and red, paired with denim jeans and a striped shirt. The outfits embody American preppy style with a touch of East Coast flair, staying true to the brand’s roots.

Canada 🇨🇦

Canada’s adaptable uniforms, designed for outdoor conditions, include a Packable Rain Poncho and a Vented Jacquard Bomber Jacket. These stylish yet functional pieces ensure athletes stay comfortable and weather-ready.

Netherlands 🇳🇱

The Netherlands’ lookbook features designs by DENHAM, showcasing a blend of modern and traditional elements for the Olympic and Paralympic teams. Nothing short of what one would expect from the Dutch contingent.

Italy 🇮🇹

Italy’s contingent will wear tracksuits from Armani’s EA7 range, featuring “W ITALIA” embroidery. The collection includes a matching tee, sweatshirt, and polo shirt, maintaining a casual yet stylish aesthetic that epitomises Italian fashion.

Taiwan’s double-breasted suits, designed by Yonex, feature gold-tone buttons and exaggerated peak lapels. Athletes will wear an open-collar white shirt and a bright red scarf, representing the vibrant colours of the Taiwanese flag.

Malaysia’s new Olympic attire features bold yellow stripes on a black background, with the OCM logo in the colours of the Malaysian flag. The design, praised for its fierceness, is a proud and striking representation of the nation.

Haiti 🇭🇹 

Haiti’s uniforms feature designs by local artists, with women wearing full skirts paired with chambray shirts and sleeveless blazers. Men’s outfits include pants with artistic motifs and field jackets inspired by traditional Haitian shirts, celebrating the country’s rich culture.

Mexico 🇲🇽

Mexico’s uniforms, inspired by the “Ángel de la Independencia,” stand out with vibrant Mexican pink. This design, rooted in tradition and brought to contemporary fashion by Ramón Valdiosera, symbolises victory and freedom, making a bold statement at the Games.
