Ever stumbled upon a TikTok Live that made you cringe harder than a bad car deal? Well, imagine being the guy whose former colleagues decided to air their grievances live and in colour.
2 M’sian women caught roasting ex-colleague on TikTok Live
Recently, two sharp-tongued car sales girls took to TikTok to roast their ex-coworker. They didn’t hold back, critiquing everything from his wardrobe to his educational background. It was like they were auditioning for a job at a comedy club, except the punchlines were more offensive than funny.
In the viral video, one of them quipped:
“He failed his exam. His clothes are all different colours. He should be wearing a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes, He looks like someone working in a bank.”
And they didn’t stop there. They even brought up his academic history, as if a person’s worth can be measured by their old report cards.
“He only studied up to SPM.”
‘Does he think he’s really that handsome? ‘
Their comments not only criticised his professional demeanour but also delved into personal attacks, questioning his physical appearance and suggesting he was unfit for the workplace.
“It’s good he quit. He acts all high and mighty. Does he think he’s really that handsome? He’s not even handsome, looks like a gay boy, his face is so pale, I’d slap him,” she said.
The two women also claimed the man they criticised was arrogant and ‘thought he was great’. At the same time, they stated they needed a more handsome male colleague as a car salesperson.
‘I had only known these two for two weeks at my new job‘
But here’s the twist: the guy they were trashing? He wasn’t taking it lying down. He recorded their whole spiel and dropped it online for the world to see.Â
In response, the man expressed his shock and disappointment at discovering such hurtful remarks being made about him publicly. He emphasised that he had only worked with these colleagues briefly for two weeks before their disparaging remarks surfaced online.
“Allah is mighty. I didn’t expect that while scrolling through TikTok, I’d come across a Live where people were criticising me. I had only known these two for two weeks at my new job. We barely even got to know each other before they started roasting me live.”
“But by Allah’s grace, I pray every day, ‘Oh Allah, keep me away from bad people.’ I didn’t even know their TikTok accounts. By Allah’s will, this Live showed up on my FYP. While they were criticising me, I recorded it,” said the man.
According to X.com user @onlyyourperson, he didn’t want to make the video go viral. However, one of his former colleagues challenged him to do so.
He added that he quit the job because he didn’t want to be in a toxic work environment.
“InshaaAllah there will be other opportunities. Quitting doesn’t mean giving up. It’s because I don’t want to stay in a toxic environment. If I stayed, I knew what would happen,” said the man.
‘The irony is she has a husband with two kids’
Adding to the controversy, the man humorously addressed the superficial nature of the criticism, pointing out the irony in one of the women’s comments about wanting a “smart and handsome” colleague.
“Maybe I’m not handsome enough, because in this live stream, she said she wants a man who’s ‘smart and handsome’. Actually, the one who said that already has a husband and two children, if I’m not mistaken,” he quipped, highlighting the hypocrisy in her remarks.
Naturally, the internet had a field day with this drama. Netizens dubbed the duo “sharp-tongued women” for all the right reasons. They even rallied for the company to step up and clean house, because nobody wants a workplace where TikTok becomes the HR hotline.
One wrote: “I hope HR Honda (refrains from mentioning official account) takes note, This is just getting caught criticising a colleague, who knows that they’re also badmouthing the big boss in the group.
Another wrote: “Her mindset is terrible, so demeaning about only studying up to SPM. May your affairs be made easy. “
