GEORGETOWNÂ – A minor fire broke out near the Guan Yin statue at the Kek Lok Si Temple yesterday (Feb 3).

In a Facebook post, Air Itam MP Joseph Ng Soon Siang said that the fire occurred at 12.30 pm but no injuries or damages to the statue was reported thanks to the joint effort between the Fire Department and police.
