We all probably have found ourselves in a situation where we had to withdraw money from the bank’s ATM due to an emergency.
But, most of us would also probably not know that the doors will automatically close when the clock strikes 12am.
Locked inside bank for 6 hours
A girl learnt this lesson the hard way after she was locked inside a bank for 6 hours while withdrawing money.
In a TikTok video by @queenraishaa, she was withdrawing money from an ATM machine at around 12.49am.
However, when she turned to leave, she saw the metal shutters slowly rolling down, leaving her trapped inside.

After calling the Fire and Rescue Department for help, @queenraishaa claimed in a now-deleted video that she had to answer Nature’s call urgently.
However, with no toilet in sight, she was forced to relieve herself with the help of an empty plastic bottle she found behind the ATM machine.
Thankfully, she was rescued at 6am and told concerned netizens that she was safe and sound.

She also warned netizens not to visit banks at midnight as they might find themselves trapped inside too.

The video of @queenraishaa getting trapped has since garnered more than 230,000 views and 10.8k likes at the time of writing.
In the comment section, many netizens shared how they were trapped inside the bank.
However, some criticised @queenraishaa for filming herself getting trapped instead of escaping.
They also questioned her need to visit the bank this late into the night, which got her into the mess in the first place.
