Generous M’sian Shares Fritters With Bus Driver After He Jokingly Said He Was Hungry

It’s not about how much we give, but the love we put into giving.
Kindness has a way of catching us off guard, especially when it comes from unexpected places.

It doesn’t take much—a smile, a helping hand, or even a shared snack—to remind us of the goodness in people.

The video, shared by bus driver Arun (@arun.fivestar) on TikTok, began with Arun testing the waters. Spotting a Malay man enjoying his food, Arun approached him with a playful request.

“The Malay guy was eating, so I thought I’d ask, ‘Bro, I’m hungry, can I have one?’ just to see how he’d respond,” Arun said.

Even when Arun clarified he only needed one, the man insisted on giving more, saying it was his blessing to share.

Generosity that went the extra mile

What made the moment even more touching was the man’s determination.

Despite a few obstacles, including roadside plants, he made sure to hand over the food to Arun with genuine care.

‘I’m so happy to be Malaysian

The video quickly went viral, with Malaysians flooding the comments section to praise the man’s selflessness.
