She also understood that the previous bill was subsidized, but the RM2000 charged for 48 days was insurmountable to her.

I can’t even sleep with peace due to the worrying matter, not only me, many have been facing such issues and I know you guys are also traumatized as me.”

She explained that she has never had electricity bill arrears and has always paid up to date.

Nelysa was not the only one

Stitching to the TikTok video, another malay influencer explained on how he is also in the same shoes as Nelysa.

Shafnaufas shared to the public that his electric charges were RM 1,189.42 and was only RM 52 the previous month.

Yes, I get it that I live in a landed double storey house. Yet, in one month of time I am not even sure if I am home for a week. That’s how busy I am. So weird. From RM 52 to RM 1,189.42

“However, even at home, I rarely watch TV. I only do live streaming at home. I have a refrigerator and an air conditioner, but even the air conditioner rests for a few hours. It can’t be possible for the air conditioning to amount to a RM1000 electricity bill, can it?”

Moreover, a while later Nelysa uploaded another video showcasing herself applying makeup with lit candles surrounding her.

Comment sections were flooded by many netizens with their thoughts to share.

“Thank you for the idea, after this I will also make good use of candles” ” Will buy led boxes at Eco shop. can use to save current like Nely hehe” said these comments who thinks Nelysa’s idea is mindblowing.
