A shocking murder-suicide rocked the Mount Austin area in Johor last night (Oct 20) after a foreign man allegedly stabbed his former girlfriend to death before taking his own life.
Two other individuals, who attempted to stop the attack, were also injured in the incident, reported Sin Chew Daily.
Allegedly took his own life after killing ex-girlfriend
Johor Bahru South district police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat confirmed the incident, saying it occurred at around 7.40pm along Jalan Austin Height 8/3, Taman Mount Austin.
Police who rushed to the scene found a 33-year-old foreign woman lying motionless with multiple stab and slash wounds and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Not far from her body was the body of a foreign male, believed to be the victim’s ex-boyfriend. Initial investigations revealed that the suspect is believed to have taken his own life shortly after killing the victim.
