Last week, we reported of a Chinese national who passed away after he was sentenced to a day in jail for driving against traffic in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
Not long after his passing, his ex-wife wrote a heartfelt Facebook post detailing what had transpired prior and the heartache that followed.
Waited, only to lose him in the end
In the post, Lu Xun’s former wife wrote that she perceived the entire court process to be “one of irony” but said she doesn’t wish to argue over it anymore.
She added that her daughter was aware of Lu’s poor health and was hoping that the ordeal be over so she could send her father to the hospital quickly.

“My daughter and I were waiting outside the prison, and when we saw Lu being wheeled out, we were overjoyed and went up to him thinking we could take him home.
“However, we noticed that his face and lips were pale. I panicked while my daughter became inconsolable and started crying.”
Sadly, Lu eventually passed away after 15 minutes of resuscitation attempts at Pantai Hospital, something which left his ex-wife stunned.
I never thought he would be gone just like that…or that he would say goodbye to his daughter forever.”

Didn’t speak to each other for 10 years
Lu’s ex-wife said that since the divorce, neither she nor Lu have spoken or met for a decade, making them complete strangers to each other.
Despite the years of silence, it didn’t stop her from sharing one final tender moment with Lu by hugging him in the back of the car and looking at him while on the way to the hospital.
“Every time I quiet down, that moment would appear in my mind and I would smile to myself. This is the script given to me by the heavens. I guess you can call it a conclusion.

“I’ll stay with my daughter and send Lu off bravely in a final farewell. I also hope he willbe at peace on the other side.”
