Some people simply have Lady Luck standing on their side, where they become the recipients of large windfalls in unexpected ways.
This was certainly the case for a former cleaner, who found himself becoming a millionaire overnight thanks to a lucky draw.

According to Harian Metro, the lucky winner was 61-year-old Mohd Nazri Abd Wazir, who formerly worked as a cleaner.
Speaking to the Malay daily, Nazri said he never imagined he would win such a huge amount of money under the 96th Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Premium Savings Certificate (SSP) special draw.
“I started saving under the BSN in 2003 with the intention of saving up for emergencies. I decided to save it under BSN SSP due to the prizes offered along with the lucrative dividends offered to depositors.
“On Feb 5, I received a call from BSN telling me that I had won RM1 million in a lucky draw. Luckily I didn’t faint,” he joked.
Nazri added that he only believed that he was indeed the winner after he went to BSN’s branch in Parit to confirm the news.
When asked about what he would do with his RM1 million winnings, Nazri said he will be using the money to take his 84-year-old mother to perform Hajj and for his daily expenses as a bachelor.
Meanwhile, the winner of the BSN 50th Anniversary draw, 57-year-old Nasir Abdullah, walked away with RM50,000.
“I began saving since I was single but only joined the draw last June. I’ll be using the money to support my three children who are still in school,” he said.
