BENTONG – A Shell petrol station in Bentong had a surprise visitor yesterday (Aug 28) in the form of an elephant as shown in a viral TikTok video.
It was speculated that the animal was on its way to a conservation centre but had to stop by as the lorry transporting it was low on fuel.

Much to the workers’ surprise, several lorries transporting elephants appeared at the same time too.
This odd sight delighted them, and they wasted no time in ‘socialising’ with the elephant by taking selfies with it.
You’ve got a friend in me
Upon seeing the elephant’s friendly demeanor, the workers offered it some bread, which it gladly accepted with its trunk.

Netizens also noticed that the elephant flicked both its ears after receiving the bread and deduced that it was probably expressing gratitude for the treat!
