[VIDEO] “Quality’s gone to the sea”: Customer accuses KFC of serving disgusting chicken at its Cybervalley outlet

A customer has taken to Twitter to criticise Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for serving substandard chicken in its burgers.

According to a video posted by @asxrvf, he had a hard time pulling apart the meat which looked grey and extremely dry, suggesting that it could’ve been reheated several times.

First & foremost, what is this? You call this quality but it looks like a rubber tyre. Totally old chicken which was probably reheated I don’t know for how many times. And here I thought your food is cooked fresh.

According to him, the chicken was served at an outlet located in Cybervalley, Cyberjaya.

Netizens unhappy with KFC too

It seemed like @asxrvf wasn’t the only one who witnessed a decline in the standards as many netizens also came forward with their own unpleasant moments with the fast-food chain.

“Not only are their burgers stale, they’re also stingy in hiring more staff. Big outlet but only 2 workers.”

“Hi Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP). Please take a look at KFC’s actions of selling stale burgers to customers. Quality’s gone to the sea.”

Shortly after the tweet went viral, KFC responded to the complaint and requested @asxrvf to share with them details of the incident.
